What we collect
When you sign in we receive your email address and (if available) a phone number from Google OAuth. We do not collect any other personal information from organizers.
Guests do not create an account – they are identified only by an anonymous identifier stored in their own browser. When a guest uploads a photo or video (and any optional voice note or emoji reactions they add), those are stored along with the display name they enter.
Retention
Media is retained for the duration of the plan you purchase:
- Mini: 7 days
- Lite: 30 days
- Basic: 6 months
- Pro: 1 year
A retention add-on can extend these windows for a specific event. After the retention window ends, all photos, videos, and voice notes for the event are permanently deleted from storage. Account data (your email) remains until you request deletion.
Sharing
We do not sell your data. We share data only with the service providers required to operate Omoide (Cloudflare, Convex, Google for authentication, Stripe and Autumn for payments).
